If all that space and luxury doesn't quite cut it, further upgrades are available. The Piazza suite, for example, weighs in at 1, square feet, and has a jetted tub, walk-in closet, and Italian-marble foyer with double doors.
The Venetian has 10 pools, including the infamous Tao Beach, a rollicking adult pool area that permits European-style topless sunbathing on specific days.
Guests are also welcome to use any of the pools at the Palazzo next door, which are connected via a pedestrian walkway to the Venetian pool decks.
At least one pool will stay open during the fall and winter. On the 10th floor, adjacent to the Venezia tower, is a pretty pool deck with blooming rose bushes, two additional pools, and several small whirlpools.
Expect a little more decorum here or at least a bunch of naked statues. An outpost of the world-famous Canyon Ranch Spa offers more than the usual range of spa services.
A day pass buys access to the "Aquavana," which includes the Herbal Laconium a warm, ceramic-tiled room with individual thrones and color-changing ceiling , the Hydro Spa a fancy name for a whirlpool , a Finnish sauna, the Igloo the opposite of a sauna , Experiential Rains a shower with new-agey sounds like "Cool Fog," "Tropical Rain," and "Caribbean Storm" , and other highfalutin features.
One warning: The spa, especially the facilities for women, can get crowded. Guests may upgrade to concierge-level rooms, which buys them access to a VIP lounge with free amenities like a continental breakfast, snacks, and early-evening cocktails.
Unlike most Las Vegas hotels, The Venetian offers free parking. Similarly to other Vegas properties, a daily resort fee is charged to rooms, which covers Wi-Fi and access to the fitness center.
The Venetian casino boasts endless rows of slots machines, marble floors, frescoed ceilings, and a busy room dedicated to poker.
Medium rollers take note, the Venetian doesn't provide comps to gamblers who aren't shelling out the big bucks. That means no free rooms, food or beverages, and no entertainment discounts.
The casino has its own food court, offering an array of pizza places, taco joints, Asian counters, and sandwich shops. The couches in all of the suites pull out into full-size beds.
Rollaway beds are available for a fee, but not in standard rooms. Cribs are available at no extra charge. The food court on the casino level, with eateries like Chipotle, Panda Express, Primeburger, and Johnny Rockets, offers plenty of reasonably priced options for kids.
A visit to the Venetian would not be complete without a gondola ride; gondolas seat four, but private two-person rides are available.
Visitors hoping for a brush with celebrity while in Vegas might want to consider a visit to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, where famous people don't say -- or move -- much, though they are more than happy to pose for photo ops.
Guests can marry George Clooney in the museum's chapel, put on a pair of bunny ears and hang out with Hugh Hefner, shoot some hoops with Shaquille O'Neal, and request for a wax model of their in-laws to be made.
Like most Vegas megahotels, the Venetian has long-running large scale shows. Past performances have included Blue Man Group and the Phantom of the Opera.
In the evening, the line of young people waiting to get into TAO nightclub wraps around the escalator of the mall. For something a little less high-energy, Bellini Bar offers bellinis and beers round the clock.
The Dorsey is the late-night casino option, plus there's even more happening next door at the Palazzo, the Venetian's sister property.
A sleek room hotel within a hotel, the luxe Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace offers travelers respite from the chaos of the Strip, without sacrificing convenience.
Located in the middle of Caesars Palace, Nobu has easy access to casinos, shopping, dining, and nightlife, but its…. Occupying the 35th through 39th floors of the Mandalay Bay Resort, the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is an oasis of calm in a city known for its frenetic energy.
Guests at the Four Seasons can look forward to decadent Art-Deco inspired rooms with huge…. The hotel is also across the street from Treasure Island and Palazzo guests seem to have the best view of the pirates extravaganza from the balcony of LAVO.
Most Las Vegas visitors want to explore all of the big properties along the densely packed, three-and-a-half-mile-long stretch of hotel-casinos known as the Strip.
Cabs are easy to find at virtually any time of day or night. A generally less expensive option is the Deuce, a double-decker bus that runs up and down the strip 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
There's also a monorail system, which stops at Bally's , Caesars Palace , Harrah's, the Las Vegas Convention Center , and the Sahara. If you're traveling along the Strip with at least one other person, a cab is often the least expensive option.
Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are also economical options. Virtually every hotel on the Las Vegas Strip is a to minute cab ride from McCarran International Airport.
The Palazzo and its sister hotel, the Venetian have extremely large standard rooms, each containing a bedroom and a sunken living room with L-shaped sofas that open up to full-size beds.
Art Deco-inspired touches in lamps, dressers, and the crushed-velvet couches add to the luxurious and tasteful ambience. The comfy king- and queen-size pillow-top beds are dressed in Egyptian cotton sheets and topped with wool throws.
Rooms also feature three flat-screen TVs: a inch in the living room, a inch in the bedroom, and a inch in the bathroom. Each offers about 40 channels, but no HBO, and a wide selection of films on demand.
The bathrooms -- which, at square feet, are larger than some New York City hotel rooms -- come with showers, separate deep soaking tubs and twin sink basins, plenty of soft towels, and quality bath products.
If all this luxury doesn't cut it, or you need some extra space, guests can book a square-foot Fortuna Suite or 1,square-foot Siena Suite, both with Italian marble foyers.
The Palazzo and Venetian have 10 pools between them, with the separate pool decks connected via a pedestrian walkway. Select pools are kept open during the fall and winter months.
The elegant pools are laid-back and have ample loungers, plus cabanas for rent. Poolside drink and food service is available.
Adults may want to head over to the TAO Beach day club, which is for a and-over crowd and allows topless sunbathing on select days.
The world-famous Canyon Ranch Spa offers more than the usual range of spa services. A pricey day pass buys access to "Aquavana," which includes the Herbal Laconium a warm, ceramic-tiled room with individual thrones and color-changing ceiling , the Hydro Spa a fancy name for a hot tub , a Finnish sauna, the Igloo the opposite of a sauna , Experiential Rains showers with new-agey names like "Cool Fog," "Tropical Rain," and "Caribbean Storm" , and other highfalutin features.
One warning: the spa, especially the facilities for women, can get crowded. Guests may upgrade to concierge-level rooms, which buys them access to an exclusive 23rd-floor lounge with free amenities like a continental breakfast, snacks, and early-evening cocktails.
The cost to upgrade depends on the availability of rooms, which dictates the nightly rate. The casino at the Palazzo is somewhat smaller and more intimate than most of the mega-property casinos, and the staff is more attentive.
It offers different table games and countless slot machines, but no poker room. For that, you have to go next door to the Venetian.
Medium-rollers take note, the Palazzo does not provide comps to gamblers who are not shelling out the big bucks.
That means no entertainment discounts or free rooms, food, and beverages. Wolfgang Puck. Emeril Lagasse. Thomas Keller. These are just a few of the chefs who helm a restaurant or two at the Palazzo, and the property has a couple dozen restaurants in all.
Of course, guests of the Palazzo can eat at any of the eateries at the Venetian. Meals at all restaurants at both properties -- except for the food court -- can be charged to a room.
Several casual options and an extensive hour rooms service menu provide more dining options. Like most other hotels on the strip, the Palazzo offers high-quality entertainment and plenty of things to do on-site.

There's an experience here for everyone. In the winter, the pool is transformed into a massive ice rink, where you can roast marshmallows over an open fire and order adult hot chocolate also kid-friendly.
In the summer, the bars in one fun, hot, sweaty dance party and those who book cabanas or special seating can get bottle service and a great view of the stage.
Set against the backdrop of the gleaming CityCenter complex, the Aria pool deck offers one of the most spacious and serene places on The Strip.
Each of the three tear-drop-shaped pools is surrounded by palm trees and shrubbery, offering much-needed shade in this stark desertscape.
The spa at Aria is also just off the pool deck if you want deeper relaxation. Partiers should seek out Liquid, an adults-only pool with all the usual Vegas party features—great DJs, bottle service, beautiful servers, and eager patrons.
If you're among the lucky folks to book one of the Sky Suites, you'll get your own outdoor deck called the Sky Pool. It has a private entrance, complimentary refreshments like chilled towels and smoothie shots, and a fraction of the main pool crowds.
Aria is a great option for relaxation and chill vibes, but it also offers the typical Vegas pool scene if you want a day of drinking. Much like the rest of the Park MGM Hotel —which is a boutique-inspired concept in what was formerly the Monte Carlo Las Vegas Resort and Casino—the pool scene is intimate and lowkey, with greater emphasis on sophisticated sunning than debaucherous partying.
Three different pools each strike a different vibe. The largest one, the North pool, is best for socializing, thanks to the poolside DJ, in-water lounge chairs, and eight private cabanas.
The East pool is more exclusive, with a VIP section and dedicated lounge bar, while the South pool is the place to go for a bite to eat—swimmers are served food and drink from Primrose Restaurant, a pretty French-style bistro with an emphasis on fresh ingredients.
Any standout features? The decor has a decidedly South of France tone: Palm trees, trellis thresholds, and potted plants mix with glazed tilework and subdued hues.
It's hard not to feel relaxed in such a chic setting. Even though there are three pools, the deck feels almost miniature compared to other poolscapes in Vegas.
But that just makes it easier to flit between watering holes. Is it easy to get in? The Golden Nugget is unique in that it actually delivers an in-pool experience.
Its main attraction, which is open to non-hotel guests for a fee, is The Tank: Swimmers slide down a foot water slide, through a ,gallon shark tank aquarium.
There's also a separate and-older pool, called The Hideout, located on the third-floor rooftop, with an infinity pool and its own bar, H Cabanas and daybeds are plentiful at both pools, although they do require reservations and cost an additional fee.
Much like Vegas hotel room rates, those prices vary wildly depending on the day of the week or the weekend you choose. Parents will appreciate the low-key vibe of The Tank, while kids will be thrilled to swim with sharks.
Adults who want a smaller but still exciting pool session will like the relative intimacy of The Hideout max capacity is guests.
